Hi, I am
Dr. Prashant Sharma
Welcome to my corner of the internet!
This blog is a collection of my experiences, ideas and the ways I try to make sense of the world at the intersection of humanity, technology, and civilization.
I am an MBBS graduate from KMC Manipal (Batch 2018). Somewhere along the way, I realised my deep rooted passion to work on technology, engineering and interdisciplinary problems. I build things. I break systems apart. I try to understand how the future can be shaped, how the painful problems can be solved.
I founded Pensieve Labs to tackle the hardest problems in medicine with technology. As CEO and CTO, I lead both the vision and the engineering. I’m also exploring ambition - currently in stealth mode - through Blackfarms (solving the food) and Vel Dynamics (solving the energy and aerospace). Since 2020, running a company has taught me more about reality than any textbook ever could.
I love solving problems, reading, weight training, cooking, and learning anything that expands the range of what humans can do.
My worldview is shaped by a few principles:
- Urgency matters. BLITZKRIEG. BLITZKRIEG. BLITZKRIEG.
- Think independently, even if it means failing on your own terms.
- Kindness is strength, but awareness is protection.
- Sacrifice is the price of any meaningful ambition.
I’m deeply fascinated by Sanatan civilizational history, and by the idea that humanity can reach the Kardashev 2 civilization in my lifetime. (Extremely low probability, yes. But someone has to think about it.)
This space is where I write about my thoughts, experiments, problems, opinions, solutions and the questions worth asking.
If any of this resonates, you’ll probably enjoy the articles below.
(Date mentioned on articles doesn’t matter because these articles are written as refined versions of random thoughts that I note down).
Also… I love discussing ideas - medicine, systems, tech, the world, stories. I’m usually at Marena between 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm (I rarely miss). If you’re around, feel free to say hi. After my workout, we can take a walk or grab something to eat. Great conversations often begin unexpectedly. 😃 You can also write to me on:

Should one speak more or less? I think volume matters little. What matters more is to whom you speak. Talking and cognition We underestimate conversation's toll on cognition. Every exchange demands pr...Show More
